Re: How has your hump day gone?

People in places where it regularly is that cold actually know how to drive in that weather. No one in San Antonio was changing their driving at all. I lived and drove in Boston. Boston drivers knew how to drive in winter.

It hasn't even gone below freezing in San Antonio yet. What exactly were you wanting them to change? Put a bobble-hat on the Prius?

Yes it did go below freezing. It was literally 30 degrees on Tuesday and also super windy. People were still driving 80 on the highway and 50 on the other roads. People were still acting like they were kings of the road. Predictably there were major accidents causing multiple lanes and exits to be blocked off.

Literally 30. Dear god, how are any of you still alive?

Okay, seriously, no idea what your problem is. I was responding to you saying it wasn't below freezing. Yes it was. Freezing is 32. I had ice on my windshield. No, that isn't particularly cold in general. But it is cold for Texas, and Texans aren't used to cold. People were driving badly. There were lots of accidents.
