It does remind me though of how there's usually a little trouble with certain slash couples that fans refuse to recognize as canon (sorry, my main fandoms are all in CLAMP-verse, and in it pretty much all couples are kinda vague if you compare them to your typical idk shojo romance with kisses and love declarations and whatever), even against the most significant evidence (if boy A tells girl B that they're their most important person, it's true love, but if a girl says it then they're just BFF, even if the girl SAYS that her feelings are different from friendship)), which is another issue altogether.
