Not that I've read much of her work, but I'll bet Aphra Behn would have been into it.

That said, I have some sympathy for the OP not to want to have constant discussions about it.

Oh, sure, I get that.

I guess they're hanging out in other types of fandom places, 'cause i've literally seen no one discussing it except for this secret.

And really - consider the Marquis de Sade and Madam Bovary and all the 'naughty' pictures and plays and books that have been around since....forever. It's just weird to imagine *no one* before modern times would like porn.

I don't actually remember anyone discussing it either, but I don't really hang out in literature fandoms.
