It's mainly the odd offhand reference in the books, and then the authors clarifying. He doesn't have any romantic interests of any gender in the show IIRC but he eyefucks everyone equally. And makes a reference to cross-dressing, which doesn't necessarily mean he's bi but in pop culture trope language suggests that he is.
