Matthew Broderick was god awful in the musical version of The Producers (a movie I otherwise liked a lot). His role should have been played by Robert Sean Leonard.

Almost the entire Hobbit cast. Martin Freeman can stay, though, as can Cate Blanchett and Ian McKellan and Christopher Lee in both trilogies.

Elrond needs to be recast for both Hobbit and LOTR, though I'm honestly not sure with. Just, someone younger and more elvish and more happy. Frodo needs to be recast as someone older since he's supposed to be the same age Bilbo was in the Hobbit.

Alan Howard was actually fine as the voice of Sauron, but they needed someone who could do a consistently scary physical body. The stupid flaming eye needs to go.

Denethor I'd probably recast just because John Noble gave off too much of an evil vibe. It went too far and wasn't the Denethor of the book who was much more nuanced.

Natalie Portman with someone else who will enjoy the role.

Anyone other than Gwyneth Paltrow because all I can think of when she is on screen is how nuts she is.

Guy Pearce in Prometheus. They could have just picked any old man instead of that hideous makeup they used.

Gerard Butler as the Phantom with someone who can sing. Emmy Rossum as Christine, ditto. Maybe Anne Hathaway? Apparently she went out for the part but was horrified at the idea of a teenage Christine being groomed by the Phantom. I know Joel Schumacher’s not an actor, but he was at least as responsible for some of the reasons I hate the 2004 Phantom of the Opera; I’d replace him with Guillermo del Toro.

I was actually still a fan of both actors at the time, but Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were horribly miscast in Sweeney Todd.

Honestly, I'd have just had Michael Cerveris and Patti LuPone do it.

Still looking for a place. Still hate my current place. Spend all of my time at home in my room with the door shut because I can't stand the person I live with and refuse to clean up after them.

My finals and the tuition I owe next quarter. I can’t pay it in full and tried to sign up for a payment plan, but got an error saying that I couldn’t do a payment plan because the amount I owe doesn’t meet the minimum requirements or something.

I got my bed in one piece and am trying to get used to it. Two nights with crappy sleep so far. Not sure I can take 12 more days of it but I guess I have no choice (since apparently it takes like 2 weeks to get used to a new bed).

My fucking feet and ankle issues are pissing me off too. Sciatica and bone spurs are the last things I need right now. I need my feet to walk, to dance, to exercise, to do anything. I went to the clinic, and they gave me pain pills and stretches and I've been trying to eat well too. I tried to go for a walk and stretch but it still hurt my ankle. I got new shoes and the new bed to help with this shit but I don't know if it will get any better. I just want to sleep and heal. Can I please do that?

Today was all stress. 12 hour work day. First had a hearing that went terribly. Office and my boss had prepared an asylum application for the client and had done a terrible job. The judge was not happy, and I was the one there (asked at last minute yesterday, knew nothing about case) who took the brunt of it.

Then I drove to Del Rio Texas, a 3 hour drive each way, to help a client report to ICE (we thought) to make sure he didn't get deported since we were preparing an asylum case for him. Waited and waited because people showed up late. Turned out to be border patrol meeting us and then transporting him to ICE. Border patrol officer knew nothing. So not being deported, but don't know where client is now being detained.

Than drove him and because I hit rush hour was closer to 4 hours back.

My foot is killing me right now. I got 3 hours of sleep last night. My foot surgery is Thursday, so I'm stressing about that. I have so much I have to get done before then too. I'm just exhausted and overwhelmed.

My dad asked me to buy some tickets to a show for him, and said he'd pay me back. The site I bought the tickets on didn't send me a receipt, so I just told him how much it cost, but he insists on having *something* emailed to him? Come the fuck on, dad, pay me what you owe me goddamnit.

And this is why whenever my brother wants to go halvsies on something, I make him buy it so I can pay him back or I'd never see the money.

If you bought it on the internet there should be some record of it. Check your credit card statement for any sort of transaction, or wait until you get the tickets, they should have a price on them. (probably lower than what you paid depending on of the site does fees, but it'll give you a general pricepoint) It's very strange the site didn't give you any sort of confirmation though.

My mom does this basically all the time. I'll buy groceries for the house and she'll look at the receipt and say something like, "well we didn't need bread, so I'm not giving you money for that." She's odd like that.

I've been overeating for a while now. I've tried talking to my doctor about it but he's not really hearing me. I don't even fit into my loosest clothes anymore, and I'm starting to get really stressed out about it. I'm fine in public, but the second I get home I just eat, eat, and eat. I just can't seems to stop myself, or make myself care in the moment... It's only afterwards that I'm reeling from an overfull stomach that I get down on myself, but by then it's too late. I hate it.

That the guy at uni I wrote to last week for an office appointment doesn't reply and I don't know if I should try to contact him again and risk pissing him off by being impatient or if I should wait some more.
