Seriously. I am so rooting for Cedrick this season. He has the biggest heart. Anytime anyone has a setback or a problem he is right there with positive words and encouragement. I want to be his bestie.

I follow cooking competitions like other people follow sports.

I can't bake at all, but I find the baking shows so soothing most of the time. There's usually some cocky jerks, but for the most part it's people doing something they love and being inspired by what their competitors are doing.

Everyone this season seems so likeable, too. Usually there's someone on Team Jackass who you know is going to hang on until the final 3, but this year everyone's so nice!

Also, Nancy feeding Jesse little bites of dessert during the judging is just adorable.

I have a few other things that get me through winter (I moved from a sun-all-year place to a place with dark winters, and it's a LOT to adjust to every year), but that's DEFINITELY a big one for me!

It's just really feel-good, and I love watching the things everyone makes. Plus, while some competition shows people get nasty towards each other, the holiday baking, even when they're competitive, no one's ever mean! I really appreciate the spirit everyone brings to the competition.
