No, but seriously, I can see your point, but to me that's part of the appeal? I like the idea of one having to lean way down or way up, or maybe the bigger one lifting the smaller one up entirely, stuff like that. I think it's really cute.

I really wish I could see past it, but especially when I try to visualize it, my brain just goes way overboard. I'm not even that tall myself so it shouldn't even be that hard, but when I read 'he leans down to kiss him,' my brain goes, 'so like on his knees then?' and it takes me right out of the moment;;

I might be sliiightly biased bc I'm 5'3" and my girlfriend is 6'1", and I love how we interact, haha. Like for sure there's some leaning/tippytoes, but we make it work just fine!

It’s a pretty significant height difference for a slash ship, I guess, but it doesn’t really seem that huge to me. Maybe because I ship both het and slash. I mean, Mulder was 6 feet and Scully was 5’2” and that was hot as fuck.

Well, here's a few things to think of:

- height differences don't matter for 69
- height matters less when you kiss laying down
- no matter what the difference, Body part A and Body part B are going to find a way to make contact. It may mean that C and D can't also be in contact, but what's the hurry? they can go next!

Yeah, Michael Whetherly's douchebaggery kind of gets in the way for me, too. I'm actually rewatching Dark Angel right now, and knowing that he's such a douche (and that he married Alba and was probably at least kind of shitty to her too) is making it less enjoyable.

hello, driveby dark angel superfan here! they weren't married but they got involved when she was barely 19 and engaged when she turned 20 (she broke it off a couple years later). she's spoken out about it since:

"I don't know [why I got engaged]. I was a virgin. He was 12 years older than me. I thought he knew better."

it definitely puts a taint on how i view logan now, especially with what happened with eliza. i tend to prefer season 2 these days.

No doubt Weatherly harassed her, but it wasn't him who got her fired. The executives, after being shown the evidence of her harassment, were the ones who fired her.

DA - It seems extremely likely it was at his urging, though. She went to him privately and asked him to cool it with some of the stuff he was doing and saying. And the next thing she knew she was being written out and let go, despite her several-year contract.

Someone got the execs involved, it wasn't her, and there was only one other person there.

The execs, shitty as they may be, don't generally want to tamper with an aspect of the show that's working. The show's profitability pretty much always comes first. And they clearly thought the dynamic with Dushku was working, since they'd recently signed her on for several seasons. So it's very unlikely they would've written her out unless Weatherly was pushing for it.

I'd be too distracted to ship anyone in this show knowing the main character is a stand-in for Dr. Phil. I'd just end up picturing Dr. Phil McGraw thrusting and grinding.
