We haven't gotten a canon story, or significant Elseworld, where that has been tested, yet.
But we have seen his tendency toward authoritarianism.
If Superman went down that route, Batman would be right next to him (as in the Justice Lords).

(Anonymous) 2019-11-22 02:22 am (UTC)(link)Technically, Batman did leave an enemy of his to die in a dungeon in the Batcave in an early comic of his. And like AYRT said before, Jason's mindset after being resurrected is to blame Bruce for not killing the Joker after he killed him. Batman has been pushed to the brink and not killed, he has been tested, it's a reoccurring theme in his overall story. But he never does. Batman won't accept or approve any of the other hero's for killing, but his character kinda prevents him from following suit.
