ia. i can get being disappointed i guess, depending on the ship though bc some have no hope in hell i really wonder how anyone could dupe themselves into ever believing there was a chance, but something wont be 'ruined' for me just bc my ship didn't happen. plus depending on how the media in question handles the relationship in general i can still get fodder for fandom, so it's fine.
