I'm even more embarrassed now that I know that she wasn't... She won American Idol in 2002, the first X-Men movie came out in 2000 apparently. X-2 was out in 2003, so I guess that's where I got confused? Which is really strange because I have a really vivid memory when I was a younger looking at that movie that Clarkson made with the other winner/second place contestant (idk the dude with the fuzzy hair) in a Blockbuster thinking something like "It was a really good score that she got to play Rouge after she won Idol."
