I have a soft spot for Twilight. It gives me nostalgia.

TBH, the only scene in Twilight that I think is genuinely awful is the "skin of a killer/my own personal brand of heroin" scene. Vampire baseball and "hold on spider monkey" are also pretty eyeroll-worthy, but in a kind of fun way?

I just really love how moody and rich the look of it is. I've always loved Catherine Hardwick's directing, ever since Thirteen came out.

I saw someone once describe Twilight as kind of a one-off from the others in that it's "Basically an indie northwestern teen movie about awkward sexual tension and high performance Volvos." I love that.

Oh man, I remember watching the movie in theaters with my best friend (who hadn't read Twilight yet) and she laughed so hard at the "skin of a killer" part that she almost choked on her popcorn. She thought it was so ridiculous, especially since they added this weird twinkling sound when he got in the sun.

That's a pretty good description of the first movie. The rest were kinda meh, except for that fake-out scene in the second Breaking Dawn movie.
