well if you really want to...enablemeplz, the monthly RP finder meme here on DW, goes up this weekend. create a character journal, hit up rpanons to look for the notification (or bakerstreet, they crosspost the link there too), put up an ad in the 1-on-1 PSL finder thread, and see what happens!

DWRP can surprise you, people into obscure stuff can find each other more easily. if nothing else you can gauge if there are other fans out there even if they aren't currently rping from it.
