Thanks, I would have never guessed that at all. I don't think Hooch would have ever come to mind since she was such a minor character (and still, for some reason I instantly remembered that her name is Rolanda. What are you even doing, brain?)

Was this ever a popular ship?

I think a lot of her popularity comes from her movie appearance having a lesbian vibe, so while it wasn't a hugely popular ship, it most likely had a devoted following (ngl I'm into it)

Femslash wasn't as popular back then than I assume it is now, and a lot of people who were into femslash then were into McGonagall pairings. People paired her with other non-characters like Grubbly-Plank and the Herbology teacher what's her face.
