Same on Prue. I feel she's made a concerted effort to be kinder, but I still just don't particularly care for her.

Part of me thinks it's because she had some very large shoes to fill. The rest of me just got turned off to her during her first season and I haven't completely gotten over it. I'm warming up towards her a little though. Slowly.

nayrt - She did have huge shoes to fill but honestly, I was prepared to give her a chance while knowing full well she's not Mary Berry and never could be. But the first season, she was downright RUDE sometimes and it was 100% unnecessary and not keeping with the spirit of the show.

I really don't care for Prue at all. I didn't expect a Mary Berry clone, but I expected her replacement to find the best bits in a bad bake & compliment on those instead of focusing solely on how bad it was. The point of GBBO is NOT to make contestants cry & they seem to have forgotten that.
