(Generally, slash/yaoi fans don't slash friends because we think it would improve their relationship; we just think romantic relationships between people who start out as friends, and are that close, are really awesome.)
130: maybe you've been unlucky with the shippy fic? The best fics I've read have always been slash/yaoi. Or you've been lucky with the gen. If you've got recs, I'd be very grateful; most gen I find tend to be lackluster and boring (I love gen in theory - I just haven't been able to find much that I liked).
146: It doesn't take long to learn, promise! Though I admit knowing Japanese made it slightly easier. I think it's possible to google lists, though. I mostly only bothered with Tsuna (27), along with Hibari (18) and Mukuro (69) - the people I wanted to slash him with. XD
