Oh, sweetie, I completely understand. I live in Savannah, GA where it's pretty warm in the winter, and I still have a fluffy white Yoite scarf that I like to wear about. His hat, too. (I cosplay him), I like wearing the hat or the scarf. It's like keeping a part of him, and a part of the fandom, around with me. It's weirdly comforting.

Along the same vein, I keep my Yoitehat and YoiteScarf sitting atop my bookshelf, near my Nabari posters/pencilboards on the wall. People are starting to call it the Yoite shrine, ROFL. But it is sort of fun to glance over my shoulder and see them there. It looks like he just wandered in and was raiding my refrigerator. X3

Well, you don't sound even a bit insane to me. =) In fact, it's very, very comforting to hear other people say he matters this much to them.

(Small, not-worth-posting secret: I ran into a Yoite cosplayer at Anime USA this month and made a point of sitting behind her at the Nabari screenings. It was indescribably great to be watching Nabari episodes behind THAT silhouette.

Yeah, call me cracked. =) )

I can't even tell you. I've never been so attached to a character, on the page or on screen, EVER, and I have NO idea why in particular... There's just something really... I don't even know. I've NEVER been one to fangirl any one character, or even a series, but with Nabari, and Yoite, I'm completely besotted. I dunno!

(Ahahaha nonono. I was a photographer for the EPIC AWA NABARI SHOOT (http://umiyuko.livejournal.com/185137.html#cutid1)... And it was just... GLEEFUL to be around TWO gorgeous Yoites and the worlds most Moe adorable Miharu and akdkadmkamd. It was magical.

And through Nabari/Yoite fangirlism, I met a dear friend, so. :D YAY NABARI.

Pffft you're not cracked. I'm jealous you could watch Nabari behind a Yoite! Now if you got a Miharu so they could lean on each other...fl;sdfl
