jk I mean everyone in OP is shades of gray and that's blissfully true of the Marines as much as every crew except maybe Blackbeard and Kaidou (but we're coming up on the point where if Kaidou has gray factors they're about to be revealed). I love Smoker and Koby but Sakazuki can eat a dick.

I can see it for certain Marines, but the organisation as a whole? I'm interested in your reasoning behind that, OP, and what makes pirate crews like the Strawhats or Whitebeards less than them for you.

I sorta get it op. I can’t say I like them more than most crews but I think they have a point because the straw hats are the exception to the nice pirates, not the rule. Most pirate crews are like Kid’s and blatantly massacring people for shits and giggles so the marines have a purpose. Also barring Akainu, most of the big name/notable ones (garp, fujitora, sengoku, aokiji, smoker, corazon, bellemere, coby, and kizaru) are likable.

I prefer the fish people. Mostly because they're featured in the only part of the series I own.

I love them because they just seem so perseverant in defending justice even if they know they won't win. Sengoku and Garp were amazing. But I love the villainous ones even more. Borsalino and Sakazuki are my dormant OTP.
