I#m kinda pissed at the guy at my uni who won't reply to my mail. I'll have to write to him again tomorrow (or maybe I'll just try to call his office on monday)to ask if he even received it since he allegedly didn't get the first mail I sent him a few weeks ago either (which I doubt and am pretty sure he just overlooked it back then). But I'm always so anxious that he did get it and just didn't work on it yet and will get pissed that I'm annoying him and work extra slow. But it's been almost two weeks and it's not a big thing so I think it's well within my rights to remind him.
I'm sure he'll say he didn't get that mail either but fuck that.

Two weeks? You were within your rights in one week.
And if this person is saying 'oh, i didn't get anything from you', then really push the whole 'can you please go into your spam mail and add me so you'll get the next one. I'll call you next time i send an email so you can make sure it worked.'

I mean, if he's gonna lie about it, call him on it and then be all pushy about it. I hate it when legitimate work stuff gets ignored because someone is just being a fuckhead.

Does your email have an option to send you a confirmation when a message is opened by the recipient? I've never bothered to figure out how to do that, but occasionally I'll get an email where when I close the message there's a pop-up telling me that a confirmation of receipt is being sent to the sender, meaning they know I saw it so I can't sit on it for too long.

Yeah, but I only saw it after I sent the last mail (I don't use that particular account all that much) and I'm annoyed at myself that I didn't use it. Will definitely do that with all future mails.
