I'm gay. Same-sex attracted, not... same gender identity attracted? I'm sure some people are interchangeably attracted to women and trans women. I don't want to police how other people identify their own sexualities, and I certainly don't have a problem with people using the word gay for that as long as they also respect that I use that word too, and I mean it the way I've always meant it.

I won't misgender people who wish to use female pronouns, but trans women are trans women. Women are women. Men are men. Trans men are trans men. I am in no way saying that people are not attracted to any combination of the above, I am in no way saying that it is wrong. Sexuality isn't a choice, and people should not be expected to "get over" not being attracted to any type of person. That's some wack religious pray the gay away camp philosophy.

It's not just the penis thing. If you think less sexually about the things you like about someone, how they smell, the way they laugh. Hormones have more subtle influences on bodies. Both the hormones you have from birth and any you take after. I'm not attracted to trans men or trans women, regardless of what's going on downstairs.
