Haven't a bunch of characters come back from the dead too, though? I've never watched a single episode, but that is an impression I've gotten.

In Attack on Titan?

Not a single person. Dead is dead.

Some of them are hardy and can survive serious injury on account of their abilities (spoilers, lol) but they're going to wind up dead anyway because those characters have an expiry date due to said abilities.

If your fave dies in AoT, they're done.

Oh, and I guess one got saved from an otherwise fatal injury because he was given those abilities, but as I mentioned... expiry date. It's just delaying the inevitable.
