I'm basically never going to be over Noctis/Prompto from FFXV. Like goddamn, OTP to end all OTPs.

Rarepair-wise, I want Aymeric/Alphinaud (FFXIV)! And, since I'm in the middle of Stormblood, and I know this isn't out there, can someone just give me a thumbs-up on the idea of Lyse/Cirina? 'Cause they're so sweet. D:

What makes Noctis/Prompto so good for you? Just curious

I'll keep this as succinct as I can without rambling, haha. Honestly, it's how much they genuinely love and respect each other, how much fun they have/how comfortable they are teasing each other, and how much they both understand each other in a way that no one else does. They were both tragically lonely children, who both reached out to each other and finally came together in high school after five years of pining for each other's friendship (Prompto kept trying to get "better" for Noct so that he'd be able to stay by him, but Noct kept seeking him out anyway). They both understand the pain of being neglected as children, and they come together in that and support each other in its place.

Prompto forces nothing from Noct. He's the only person who's there literally only because he's friends with Noct-- Prompto is no one, Noct was never his job (don't get me wrong, Gladio and Ignis care a lot about Noctis too, but there is a layer of duty there that Prompto simply doesn't have). He supports him unquestionably. And Noct's crown means nothing to him.

On the swap side, Noct is so goddamned grateful to have someone that loves him simply for being himself; not Prince Noctis, but the weird kind of awkward nerd that he is. He cares so desperately for Prompto's well-being-- to the point of destroying the Regalia, his last standing connection to his father, in a desperate bid to get him back after Ardyn made him fling him off the train. Hell, Ardyn teases them both about how much they care about each other.

I could honestly keep going, but this is kind of a light overview, haha. There's just so much there, and I love how much they love each other.
