Not due to shittiness, but I felt this way going between A Realm Reborn and Heavensward in FFXIV-- the entire cast changed (bc they went with a British studio instead of American actors faking British accents haha), and Alphinaud in particular was a hard change to stomach because I love Sam Riegel, but after playing for a while, I got used to it and now even kind of prefer the new guy. In other words, just keep going, and maybe the new voice will grow on you?

They’ve made everyone British but even then they’ve continued to change VA’s through updates. It’s rather annoying.
