I've been wondering for a while why it seems like I don't read as many books as I used to and you've articulated it perfectly. I feel like I always had so much time to read as a kid but now with a full time job and everything my free time is limited and reading has to compete with all the other things I want to do in that small period of space that's mine (which is also why I tend to read more fanfic now, because as long as I don't have customers and it's not smut fic I can read that at work during downtime). Plus thinking about it I used to do most of my reading in the car driving places with my parents but now I'm the one driving myself everywhere.
