1. I would -love- to do voice-acting too, but I know I'd always get cast as some annoying cutesy character because of my voice so I doubt I'll ever try.

1. don't give up. few are born with perfect acting/voice
skills. others get training. a professional voice trainer could maybe give you exercises for breathing right and getting the result you want.

6. Trust me, I was the same way, made the mistake of going to concerts, and it was exactly what you fear. D: The only group that really lived up in my opinion had to be BNL, but I just don't go to concerts anymore now.

14. I like some J-rock, but I think that the way they dress is terrible. 10. No ... not really. But all of the good writers I know really don't want to write filth. We might write porn but it's not going to be utter tripe with 2000 words of badly written porn and therefore not wank material and so people do generally get off to badfic. I won't dissagree with the fact that it tends to be sexier, the dirtier and worse it's written.

I wanted to be a voice-actress. I think there really is something magical, about being immortal in such a positive way. Like Mel Blanc, who doesn't feel happier after watching Looney Tunes. It's like, thinking you could be that person who makes a kid, with a horrible flu, who can't sleep feel better as a cartoon character.

I think I'm like Dr. Suess, who said he wrote the books because he was awkward in dealing with children. I feel the same way, so I figure it'd be easier if I could pretend to be someone fictional they like.

I can do a decent imitation of Yoshi from Nintendo. I can imitate some characters from Cartoon Network halfway decently. However, I do think that my voice is stuck in cutesy mode. I can't really do anything, with that much variation. I do think however, I can do a amazing imitation of one of those rabbits from Rayman Raving Rabbits. Since I would do that kind of nonsensical cutesy babbling at 1 am when I was bored to entertain myself.

To #3: Totally agree. It's my favorite PS1 RPG ever, even moreso than Xenogears, but nobody seems to get why I love it. -_- And now, with the (awful, IMO) sequel out, no one ever will.

1. If I could have any job I wanted, I think I would want to be a voice actor. I imagine it can be tough being an English VA, though, since it's almost impossible to be accepted by Japanese seiyuu purists. I think Paku Romi does a great job as Edward Elric, for example, but I also think that Vic Mignogna does a pretty good Ed. Does he try to imitate Paku Romi as faithfully as he can? No. But he interprets the script his own way and his lines come out with believable emotion. However, there will always be some people who insist that he suxs because Paku Romi is better.

But actually, being a Japanese voice actor is my dream job, though it'll always stay as a dream. Going to huge events, doing radio dramas, talk shows, etc.... I think that must be the most fun job there could be.

2. Bump of Chicken' lyrics are so meaningful. I first got to know them through Karma (Tales of the Abyss). When I looked up the lyrics, I felt like crying. Then I looked up Snow Smile (so bittersweet) and Harujion, and so on... I love this band a lot. "Respect" is a good word for what I feel toward them.

3. Star Ocean 2! DFYHX$^E*SI&Y I LOVE THIS GAME. I thought it was much better than Til the End of Time. I don't understand why it doesn't have more fans. When I learned that there was a SO: Blue Sphere but it wasn't translated into English, I felt so frustrated. Then I found scanlations for the manga at JanKenPon, and I felt happy again. lol.
