110:I liked Shirley, disliked Rolo almost from the start. I DID feel sad for him though, when he sacrificed himself to save his "brother". Didn't make up for all the crap he did, but I sympathised with him. Even though his devotion to Lelouch was a little bit to creepy to be considered brotherly >__>

132:I'm sort of new to this fandom(or was re-introduced thanks to Animated), but I don't think I could read ANY Transformers romance fan fic. Not even the ones with het(if they even exist, lol). It's just... I don't know, romance in Transformers? I mean, if you do it for the lulz, that's a whole other thing, but...serious shipping? I don't know. I kinda just...stay away from that part of the fandom. Um, sorry for ranting like this, I just felt like getting it out there ^^; No offense, rest of Transformer fandom

Is it just me, or are a lot of American shows filmed in...places that they aren't really filmed in? I mean, it takes away a bit of genuine-ness(that's not even a word)when they film at a completely different location. Meh, maybe it's just me :P

Yeah, that's 'cause it costs a fuckload of money to transport your whole crew and all your equipment 2,000 miles to Nowhere, Kentucky to film one episode. The occasional break in reality ("THERE ARE NOT MOUNTAINS IN TEXAS!") is acceptable comparatively.

It is rather jarring when you start recognizing locations, though, and the entire area looks fuzzily familiar. The fangirling of said location that follows is usually more jarring, though. XP

Lots of films/TV shows shoot in Vancouver, though (Idk why, Canada is cheap?), so it's not a first. I remember when I was doing the orientation tour at my university they pointed out one of the buildings on campus and said, 'yeah, this is Lex Luthor's mansion from Smallville'. I've seen film trucks around town more times than I can count. I've yet to run into any celebrities, though. :P

When I visited Vancouver a few years ago, we happened across the filming of a TV episode; sadly, I did not watch the show and didn't recognize the actress. And the day before we visited one of the local parks, X-Men 3 had been filming a scene. WE MISSED THEM BY A DAY. :(

132. Well, they seem to pretty well ship themselves, if ~~Blackarachnia~~ the canon is any judge. I personally consider the fandom lucky that we don't have ship wars very often--usually the debate is ability to love vs. lack of ability to love, with occasional batches of homophobia thrown in there.

Well, I have to admit, when Blackarachnia showed up and acted like the stereotypical "sexy female villain", it made me cringe a little. I kinda wished that they hadn't made a female villain that used her sex appeal to get her way(It feels so wrong to think "Transformers" and "sex appeal" in the same sentence). I did warm up to her after a while, though, when I looked past that trait. And yeah, I guess the characters do kind of ship themselves XD Me and my brother are in agreement that Starscream is Megatron's bitch, though. That's pretty much a fact XDDD

Oh, Starscream is definitely Megatron's bitch, that one's a continuity constant.

Transformers has never been particularly good with female role models, although Sari's at least breaking the mold by being both female and nonwhite.
