I think OP's secret is fine and good and I use Twitter exclusively so I have no horse in this fight

But OP's secret definitely implies that sentiments like "making everyone gay is ruining fandom" are dead on Tumblr

No, it doesn't.

"For all the problems with tumblr" doesn't suggest that those sentiments are dead. OP says their specific fandom is "better" - note that better =/= perfect.

I agree that OP acknowledges Tumblr has problems.

A simple reading of the secret, however, does imply that OP thinks that "ew, don't make everyone gay, that's ruining fandom" is a dead sentiment on Tumblr. Tumblr still has other problems but it does not have that specific problem. Because that's the difference they cite between Facebook and Tumblr. They don't say the sentiment is more common on Facebook. They say that the sentiment is *not dead* on Facebook, implying that it is dead on Tumblr.

I literally don't even care it just bugs me because that's clearly what the secret says
