What is everyone doing this weekend?

I will be doing Christmas dinner shopping tomorrow and picking up my new shelves. Sunday I will hopefully be doing nothing. Thankfully, I only have to work Monday and then I am off work until January 2nd.

I'll probably spend much of my day alternating between my Pokemon Shield play throughs and working on a slightly surreal wing!fic that's been percolating for about a week.

Have fun gaming and writing fics!

I'm going to go look at Xmas lights with a few friends tonight. I MIGHT go to the Dickens Fair
https://dickensfair.com/ Sunday but that may depend on if I get my Xmas $$$ in the mail which I haven't yet.

Saw Rise of Skywalker today. No big plans for the rest of the weekend. Probably watch some Murdoch Mysteries. Sunday we have a lunch thing with friends of my parents. Other than that, another light weekend. Still not able to move that much.

Baking cookies, leaning, and packing to go to my parents' next week. I'm going to finish baking the batch of Smitten Kitchen spicy gingerbread dough in the fridge and then make some fruit and nut biscotti from a Martha Stewart recipe I love. Maybe I'll do another kind if I have time.

Yum! That sounds delicious and relaxing.

Going to see Star Wars tomorrow and have thusly blocked everything about it on the internet for now, idk if I'll like it but I'd rather form my own opinion than go off of internet outrage.

Other than that it's a looooooooooooot of present wrapping I need to do and one final gift for my niece to get(which I'll be picking up when I'm out). And there's the last episode of His Dark Materials to watch on Sunday which I am in all honesty: DREADING.

I am gloriously off work until the day after Christmas so I'm going to be spending Saturday sleeping and on Sunday we're hopefully going to get our floor finished. Fingers very crossed.

Cleaning the house in preparation for guests and maybe doing some baking.

I would say have fun but cleaning usually isn't fun.

My birthday's today, but we're waiting until tomorrow to celebrate properly. I'm going to dye my hair hot pink in the morning, and then Dad and I are going to see Frozen 2 in the afternoon, after which we're going to pick mom up and go eat at Olive Garden. Afterwards we may hit up Barnes & Noble if any of us still have the energy.
