I find those kinds of think-pieces/articles annoying because they give Disney kudos for doing absolutely nothing, and tbh I think it partly encourages big media corporations to do the absolute bare-minimum wrt LGBT content because hey, they get praised for it! Therefore they don't need to actually try, gosh.

No, either give me explicit, unquestionable rep or fuck off.

Nah, I mean, explicit rep would be best, but I'd rather have characters that are open to interpretation through hints than go back to everyone being explicitly heterosexual.

For me that's no different than how it always has been, they're still not gay, I'm still having to play 'make-up' in my head and that isn't enough for me anymore. I want it in my face or I don't care.

YMMV and all but I'm bored of pretending.
