I wouldn't call the last episode "deep". It was, however, powerful in its presentation, which is surprising considering how R2 (and the last arc) was a massive ball of fail. It managed to stumble itself to an ending that somehow offered a satisfying ending for both the protagonist and antagonist's character arcs, though if you look a little deeper, there are still many unresolved issues. God, I hate R2. (If that wasn't apparent enough already.)

I don't know if by that you mean "like DN if [DN] hadn't started sucking" or "like DN, if only [CG] hadn't started sucking". To both I'm tempted to say "Death Note was never good". But then again, I like Code Geass, so lol to my opinion. Anyways, they sometimes have a similar feel, true, but saying "lol Code Geass is Death Note with robots" tends to get you lynched by the fandom. Everyone's so sensitive about it, lol.

I think he meant it as like if DN hadn't started sucking. I dunno. I liked DN at the beginning but my attention span eventually was like "wtvr done". Also I am scared of fandom (I'M ON

fandomsecrets HOW FUNNY RIGHT) because everyone in every fandom is terrifying [/sweeping generalization] so I stay out of it anyway.

To me, DN was EPIC SCRIBBLING set to EPIC MUSIC. (With bonus appearance by EPIC POTATO CHIP.) It was lulzy.

Ironically, I ~~find~~ found CG fandom to be one of the best I'd seen. Then the new season started, and the fandom took a massive dip in intelligence. It's okay; I hide off in my flist where the smart fans are.

And yes. Somehow.
