Orihime deserved better, and I'm still mad that so many characters were just swipped under the rug.

Orihime, Kubo's pet, of all characters deserved better? She was the only character who got exactly what she wanted.

Yeah, she wanted Ichigo and she got Ichigo, so in that sense she got the best ending out of all of them.

I thought the pairings were very predictable, and the ending was just generally quite lazy. And this from someone who shipped Ichihime.

I think the reason most people are pissed with the way it ended is because Ichigo never showed any interest in Orihime other than as a friend. He never treated her any different to any of his other friends, and their relationship never really changed throughout the series. She just endlessly pined after him.

He had more interaction/chemistry with Rukia, which is why people probably thought they'd end up together.
