I love any ad all forms of time travel, but I do agree that this version is my favourite and I love the plotlines that come out of it.

Way back when there was a series called Crime Traveller that stuck to this (in short loops) to solve crimes and though it probably doesn't hold up well, I enjoyed their take.

I loved Crime Traveller and I thought it handled the whole time travelling continuity thing really well!

Going to have to give it a re-watch now :)

Gosh that's a blast from the past! I remember watching that when it was broadcast on Saturday nights eating my pudding, which was usually Jam Roly Poly.

Iirc they had to get back to the machine or they'd be stuck? I only have vague memories of the whole thing but in my mind it's one of those things that was a good idea but perhaps not executed as well as it could be. And it got cancelled before we could find out exactly what happened to her dad I think?

I think knew he got stuck and they were starting to explore that, but not fully. It was written by Anthony Horowitz, so I like to think he had some kind of plan! I do have it on DVD somewhere about.
