He only show up now and then on my feeds, so I can't say he's obnoxiously everywhere. However, Hozier is one of those artists who I think is genuinely talented and yet for some reason he kind of bugs me? Or maybe it's not him that bugs me but the specific type of popularity he has? He's one of those artists whose work is so commonly touted as incredibly deep and profound that it almost starts to feel self-congratulatory. Like yes, you love Hozier, you have deep taste in music, good for you.

To be clear, there is nothing remotely wrong with liking Hozier. I like Hozier. And yet...hearing people talk about their love of Hozier has gotten kind of tiresome IMO.
