That is also the road I'm taking on this one. Sometimes solitary and casual is the best way to enjoy something if you want to keep enjoying it.

Agreed. I wasn't expecting to like the show but my partner encouraged me to watch it, and I ended up liking it a lot. But no interest in the fandom... Star Wars fandom seems nuts and I'm happy that most of my friends who watch it are doing so on a casual level.

Anyway, enjoy it anon - and keep away from the fandom if you have to, although from what I've seen there are really not many devisive opinions about it around? It seems to be fairly well liked universally? Or at least not really hated by anyone? Unline the film-side of things?


/I'm starting to feel weird about not getting into this one at all (I've seen 4 episodes, almost nothing happens, baby yoda is cute, but the main character is a void. It's not the slowness itself, because I do watch a lot of slow more art-house-like films, but...)./
