4.) Yeah, I agree here. I hate when people have to tear down a ship like that. I'm not sure if this is the case here, but I especially hate when people rip into someone else's ship just to glorify there own. Okay, I just hate all ship wank altogether.

9.) Fandom fighting is so lame. Like, I don't know, hating a character just to get back at someone. My old fandom (no, I'm not telling) used to hate on anyone who liked a character, because they were just lame fanboys/fangirls if they liked that character. >.O Guh!

13.) I think some of the make-up is awesome personally. Some of the stuff people can do is incredible. That's just weird old me though.

4: Honestly, I have no clue exactly what people think I did since apparently it was something so infamous that it still nags at people. What was said in one comment that actually was taken very graciously by the author was how she should attempt to justify the pairing more instead of simply writing PWP that made little sense as to why it would even happen. It was one of many RenoxRufus fics in the course of about a week that read the same way and had the general plot -- or lack thereof -- with Rufus being some mindless prick and Reno being slutty and annoying and it just made no sense as to why they'd be having sex. It was pretty well known that I wasn't fond of the pairing after a certain art theft incident that had taken place earlier in that month, but I'm usually unconcerned with what people bother liking since I don't expect everyone to like what I do and actually almost prefer it that way since when people do start liking things they start copying said things.

What happened afterwords will go down in [livejournal.com profile] ffvii_yaoi fandom history ... though I wasn't even directly connected to it. It ended up that some fans who thought it was there place to get involved in something they didn't even know the details about and attacking me. [livejournal.com profile] seraphim_sephy was there to witness it all. Like ... I seriously had complimented someone on a TsengxRufus fic they had written as well as a RudexReno fic and she attacked me with, 'Oh so you actually think someone else can write other than you.' It was bizarre since I dunno where this even came from. But yeah ... the whole thing was actually an indirect assumption by a lot of fans on there and I guess since there always has to be the one to blame ... I was the easiest target because I was known to be snarky at times and was fairly wellknown around there and people were intimidated by me for some unknown reason.

But really, hell if I know what happened. But it must have made some form of impact for people to still care over a year later. o_O

I never touched that fic ... I remember when she wrote it though. It was after I kind of bowed out of fandom. And yeah, she's so elitist and stuck-up in a bad way. I mean, I know I'm a bitch at times but seriously if anyone takes the time to talk to me I'm a nice person who doesn't give this stuff much thought offline. You bring out my evil side too often, though. I think you want to do it, showing me little rants here and there. Instigating and then I look bad for showing up and being caught at the scene of the crime so to speak.

She tore into a friend of mine -- who was a friend of hers at the time -- over said friend suffering from depression. Some friend, yanno. x_x

Yes, it is.

It's funny because Brittney was intimidated by me years ago. We're talking way back in 2003 when I writing HojoxVincent. She became friends with Rene' -- who I unfortunately never hear from anymore these days -- who was a really good friend of mine and Rene' was all, 'Talk to her, she's not scary.' And finally she did and I think she was still scared of me up until a point. I have no idea where this comes from though. People meet me in person and they're all, 'You're a lot more talkative' or 'I wasn't expecting to see you smile' or something of the sort. Whereas Crystal who's pretty sociable online is kind of shy in person.

Indeed. Though, seriously a part of me wishes it would go away in general. I probably made a lot of enemies unintentionally over the course of about 48 hours back in late December of 2005.

In retrospect I'm sometimes all, 'WTF was I doing?' It's funny though, because some of the people I was probably bashing are now friends of mine. I have friends who I can't stand their fandom or pairing or writing style, but that doesn't change the fact that we can still be friends outside of that because it's a stupid hobby to occupy my online time which is becoming less and less these days.
