Secret 6 - Pirates of the Caribbean (movies), Captain Jack Sparrow (character), Johnny Depp (actor)

[Picture is Captain Jack Sparrow, as portrayed by Johnny Depp, from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series of movies. He's a pirate. He has tanned skin, wild, long dark hair with many beads entwined in it, a mustache, a beard that has been collected in two small braids, and he is wearing dark eye makeup, a brown tricorn type of hat, with a maroon bandana beneath that, a low-collared white shirt, a dark vest, a brown coat, a sword, a gun, a bunch of rings, a belt and some dark green square kinda jewel-y box thing hanging from his waist. He is making a sort of intense but serious expression, looking into the distance.]

I don't understand why everyone finds him so attractive... I mean, I like the character; he's very funny. But... I just don't see the appeal of Johnny Depp, especially in this getup. Am I weird?
