121. I'd love to read stories like that, actually. They sound good. OCs in stories are actually not at all a bad thing, especially stories that really need plot and often have random extras coming in and out of interaction with the main cast in canon. A long plotty Phoenix Wright story with no OCs at all, for instance, would be really, really hard to pull off and probably just be awkward.

LESS TL;DR, POST THEM POST THEEEEM. I bet they're awesome, and you might get much better reception than you think. ♥

EXTRA SPECIAL AJFHAKJF NOT FANDOM: Well, I don't do it in the middle of sentences and I try not to do it as much as I've seen SOME people do it, but I don't really see any harm in it? When it's oversaturated it can make stuff annoying to read though, yeah. A random keysmash at the beginning or end of something just to show emotion I do a lot, though. XD
