I've actually seen a lot of the fandom turning the hell away because of this. Her previous faux-pas brought about more of a "what the hell Joanne" response, whereas this one was so blatantly stated (as opposed to more inferred as in the Nagini thing) that it's harder to ignore.

Then again, the people on this site who want to defend transphobes to their dying breath seem to prove otherwise, so what do I know.
