I think that is very clear that Atlus consider Persona 1 and 2 to be separated from the rest and have no intention of doing more with 1 and 2. Persona 3 forward is basically another franchise. I know that and yet I keep hoping that I’m wrong and that the characters from 1 and 2 will appear in the future.

Ahh I would kill for some of the 2:IS characters to make appearances. Tatsuya/Jun was a big ship for me for a while, and I really appreciated that it actually let you pursue him as a romantic interest. Lisa and Eikichi are incredibly dear to my heart. As much as I like P3 onward, also, I kind of miss the whole... messing with demons battle system? It was so clever and it could be so funny.

Yes! I loved the first two games. The characters were great. I don't like the direction the games are going. Persona 3 was good, but I did not like the characters in Persona 4 and it ruined the game for me.
