My brother lives interstate, and we usually do a thing where I buy gifts for our parents, he sends me half what I paid, and I put his name on the cards. Well, this year I kept him updated on what I was getting, he said that all sounded good, I put his name on both cards... and I've heard nothing since.
I know money's a bit tight for him right now, because he's looking to buy a house, but just an acknowledgement and a "pay you when I can" would be enough. You know?
