It is real though, lots of us saw it in the last book before she said anything.

And answering a kid's question with "I always saw Dumbledore as gay" and then continuing to defend that stance against homophobes (yes, remember when actual homophobes also got mad at her for it, not just all-or-nothing LGBTQ people?) in support of gay people is not remotely the same level of "bad" as saying "You should be allowed to harass trans people and not be fired for it."

i never said anywhere that i was satisfied with it, i'm not calling it good, i just don't consider two women actually kissing to be worse than a mention outside of the canon text bc tbh i'll agree with you that rose/rey having a romantic arc and kissing is the kind of shit we should be getting, not a 10 sec moment that can be removed without issue.
