The Lapis-bashing seems to take a couple flavors:

1a) That she's not recovering fast enough from her experiences and she's still so sad all the time
1b) That when she reacts according to her experiences and it makes someone sad (ie Peridot), that makes her an evil person
2) That Jasper's perspective of their fusion somehow carries more weight (and in general that a bad relationship has to have a clear abuser and victim and can't simply have been awful for both)

I'm beginning to think most of the ppl behind this discourse are under the age of 18. Anyone older making these arguments should be embarrassed of themselves/lack real world experience. :-/
