This is cute!

And you're not the only one. There's quite a few canon based cookbooks, fanmade and official.

When I was young I had an American Girl cookbook based off of food from the original 3 dolls. My best friend and I happily cooked all the meals for our families with mixed results. But Kirsten's Swedish porridge is still on my menus today!

Also, as an adult, I have been known to cook out of the Star Trek Cookbook. Sometimes I share this with people, sometimes not...

Much love to you and your cooking anon!

We made Samantha's gingerbread a lot when I was little.

Ooh, I had all the AG cookbooks and had so much fun cooking the recipes! I made Swedish pancakes so many times that I memorized the recipe.

My favorite hannibal fic (quelle surprise) has a recipe at the end of each chapter, referencing the food they eat in the story. It's so good. I don't cook but most of them seem very tasty.

I'll take it that farm-raised human isn't a grocery store staple where you're from?

I remember desperately wanting the Dragonlance cookbook back in the day, but I never found a copy!

You might like Joanne Fluke.

She writes a lot of cozy mystery novels that include recipes (her protagonist for them is a small-town baker). They have names like Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder, Peach Cobbler Murder, Devil's Food Cake Murder, and Cinnamon Roll Murder. There are also some Hallmark movies based on a few of them.

OP

That sounds right up my alley! I'll have to check them out!
