The people I know who have seen both seem to like The Mandalorian a bit better (haven't seen either so I don't know). I think The Mandalorian is pretty short, so you could watch that first, then switch?

I missed the H/C part. Don't know about Witcher, but I understand The Mandalorian has a badass bounty hunter basically adopt the most adorable baby in the universe and I think said bounty hunter gets hurt at one point.
