Especially if the multiple prescriptions are from different doctors. That's a big red flag for someone who is abusing the drugs - they go to different doctors to get scripts because the doctors won't give them more than one. They might go to one doctor and claim back pain, and then to another doctor and say their knee hurts.

Even though I've had one for years for migraines and one is a recent post-surgery prescription? I get that people abuse the system, but then to be suspicious of everyone who isn't is going way to far in the other direction and is IMHO dangerous and leads to people not getting their medication they may really need.
