Drinking champagne, watched fireworks. Reminisced about 99/12/31. Watched a YouTube video on the Y2K-bug. Ate a lobster.

I don't know why, but 'ate a lobster' to me sounds so much more horrific than 'ate/had lobster'. Like in my head you just grabbed a whole lobster and Ozzie'd its head off.

Drinking, playing games. I was going to order a calzone but it is a $15 minimum delivery fee. :( It is also my birthday tomorrow so guess I will be doing something for that.

It's already the first here, but yesterday was very quiet for me - I went to the blood bank and donated plasma, and then I went home and sat quietly for the rest of the day.

Cleaning like a FIEND.

I'm taking out the trash and hoping to start a new year and new decade on a cleaner, brighter slate.

Also eating cookies. Because the diet begins tomorrow and I've been prepping for it all month and the only shit food I have left in my house now is 2 cookies. Woot. Back to keto I go.

Working. And I have to wake up at 4AM tomorrow morning (New Year's day) to get work at 6AM because my work is open and having a big sale. Ugh. But at least I'll be getting off at 2:30 and then I've got 3 days off.

Being dragged out to a Texas amusement park to watch fireworks.

I wouldn't mind the fireworks if I didn't also have to be subjected to thousands of smoking, spitting, white trash.

I finished a needlework sampler for my friend and now I’m just chilling in my room, watching Doctor Who, and avoiding my relatives until the ball drops.

Debating whether or not to stay up for another three hours. I'm tired.

Cut my finger cooking (it was actually bleeding heavily enough to drip onto the floor, I never have such severe cuts) and it took quite awhile to stop bleeding but even though it finally stopped and is bandaged up and the intense pain is now much more mild now, I'm still kind of freaked out. How the hell am I going to do everything one handed? Also, I have a trip in two weeks and I'm really hoping it's healed enough by then that it won't inconvenience me.

This on top of some other stuff that's going on in my life right now is really not a good omen for the new year and decade. :(

Writing and drinking tea. Debating whether to open a bottle of wine since I was sick all December and now my sleep schedule is fucked up because of it.
