I worked. Had to be there at 6AM. But it was a good day (we made quota) and I'm off until Sunday, woohoo!

Made a big fucking pot of ragu with pork, beef, and sausage. Came out OK. I wish I'd had another couple tomatoes, and the sausage ended up really powering a lot of the flavor. But at the end of the day still really tasty.

Got groceries and have been laying around. I feel like I'm getting sick so I'm trying to rest as much as possible so I feel better for work by Friday (I already had tomorrow off).

Mad. Internet AND phone service went out exactly at 12am last night. Didn't come back on until 4pm. Had a small birthday thing but now my head hurts.

Ha. Our internet has been wonky a lot at night lately for some reason. It was bad tonight for a while too.

In bed, mostly. Horrible head cold, sneezing and sinus-y, blech. Going to work tomorrow won't be fun, but it's only two more days.

Went to the office to talk with the other attorney I work for (who pays better) about some cases. Watched some movies (Peter Rabbit, which is actually quite good, Chronicles of Riddick which I've always kind of liked, Goodbye Christopher Robin, and About Time (that one was meh, so I skipped through it a bit)).

For dinner at 330 PM we had pork roast, mashed potatoes, and sauerkraut. I love, love, love sauerkraut, so that was great.

Just woke up from a 2 hour nap because my dad is practicing piano. Gonna watch some youtube vids and then maybe either Brooklyn or The Little Stranger.

Have a heating pad on my head because I'v got a headache due to the stupid mountain cedar that has been high for days.

Mmmmm, reuben. Honestly, any food with vinegar or cabbage and I'm sold.

Peter Rabbit with Domhnall Gleeson? That one's cute.

Yup. I saw the trailer for the second one while in the theater for Jumanji and saw he was in it. He's hot, plus the trailer was cute, so decided to rent it. Turns out it was a really good movie, and not just because Gleeson looks good playing uptight control freak, and I'll probably see the second one in the theater.

I was pleasantly surprised by it, too, although disappointed that they changed his hair color (I love redheads).

Successfully (I think) put my sink drainpipes back together; the guy who put the sink in wasn’t a plumber and periodically one of the drain bits unscrews itself and dumps greywater all over the kitchen. Was not fun realizing I was standing in a growing puddle while doing dishes last night.

Finished all my dishes this morning, bagged up my dirty laundry, planted some token flower bulbs and a gallon potted rosebush that had sprouted a cardoon seedling buddy. Cleaned a bucket of guano and feather litter out of the chicken coop. Played with the cat and her new laser pointer. Now that it’s dark I walked down to the beach, which I’ve done for the last couple of new years. Gonna wander around and get my miles in, go home, feed my disabled hen, and go to bed because I have work tomorrow.

Slept in and did some cleaning. Discovered the drain under my kitchen sink/dishwasher is leaking down near the basement floor, so I have to find someone to fix that.
