The problem is that all the vocal ones are the nutjobs and the reasonable ones are labelled as truscum and ostracized by their own community. AGP is rampant among adult men presenting as trans, it's not only a 0.1%.

Genuine trans people have all my sympathy, but let's not pretend the current trans community isn't a cesspool. Trans women need to make a distinction between themselves and AGP men, the sooner the better. LGBT acceptance is declining thanks to people like Yaniv or McKinnon; this is affecting all of us.

I probably don't want to know (and am afraid to google), but what does AGP mean?

Autogynephilia is a (AFAIK, largely discredited) theory that many trans women are motivated by a fetishistic sexual attraction to the thought of themselves as a woman, which is also part of a larger framework of transexuality which effectively rejects the identity of many if not most trans people.

The whole reason that we use statistics for things is because our anecdotal perceptions of things are subject to massive bias and misrepresentation.

The idea that cis women and trans men are never exhibitionists definitely doesn't match *my* personal experience of life - in fact, it seems massively and hilariously wrong. But anon said it with a high degree of certainty, so I thought maybe they had some kind of concrete, specific evidence to support it. Guess it was just bullshit though.

That's not true at all. Do you know how many erotica novels have exhibitionism as a kink in them? it is just that (cis) women are socialized from birth to be more reserved/controlled in public than men are and not to indulge or display their desires or even needs, so cis women are less likely to actually play out such a kink in real life than cis men are.

Not touching the trans woman thing because you're argument is transphobic and ridiculous and gross. And even if trans women did all have that kink (which I highly doubt), that doesn't make them any less women because having or not having a kink has nothing to do with gnder, what the hell anon?

Masturbating in public dressing rooms is perverted and borderline predatory. Walking around with a boner in a women's shelter, where a lot of cis women staying there have experienced sexual trauma, IS predatory. I agree, only the bad trans people are getting attention and notoriety. Even with the Kardashian dude who got some humanitarian award just because he was trans, despite being a horrible person.
Then there's these two guys who just make everyone look bad because of their behaviour. I can't really think of anyone who is a good representative for trans people because everyone is too busy defending these assholes who don't deserve it.
