Getting stuff off a wall....

Monstrous Bebe cut out letter-shapes from magazine pages and glued them to her wall (elmers or wood, not sure) in a big quote.

Now that she's moved out, that needs to come down so i can repaint in there. Anybody have any low-cost/no-cost ideas about how to get something like that mostly off? The wall is very textured but the paint itself is the kind that I can scrub with a wipe or washcloth and won't come off.

Maybe Goo Gone?

It's really good at removing adhesive from things and because it is citrus oil based, it doesn't smell noxious.
