I do this too :/ Maybe I'm just easy to entertain, but when I watch something that's been so totally panned and I end up liking it (even liking it a lot!), I always wonder wtf everyone even wants. Like I just went to go watch Cats bc my friends wanted to laugh at it, but I thought it was wonderful? It was really cute and touching? I didn't see what supposedly looked so horrible? idk. I think sometimes people just want to be overly critical and snide. I'm sure this show is just fine, maybe even good.

Maybe some people are just mean to be mean, but for myself, I can't even watch the gifs of Cats that people and posting here and there because it's like they find the button in my head labelled "UNSETTLE" and jump up and down on it. Not everyone who says it's so ugly it's genuinely upsetting to see is making shit up.
