I mean it is bad if you’ve ever watched a single anime in your life. If you haven’t I guess it’s enjoyable because I’ve noticed most people who watch RWBY are too young to have grown up on the Big 3 + DBZ/SM and it’s like baby’s first anime with additional waifu bait if you’re into that.

it being bad and enjoyable is still valid though. In fact it’s probably better. That way you won’t be disappointed with the inevitable wasted potential cause there was nothing good there to begin with. Look at how salty bleach and naruto fandom is still years later.

I'm 30. I love Sailor Moon. I don't need every show to be Muh Deep Stuffz and anything more than just fun. (Naruto is wasted potential in a lot of ways that AREN'T fun including spitting on the original message of Naruto being a nobody with everything against him at the start, then revealing he had a Super Special History.)

I think Naruto's main flaw was that he originally aspired to be the Hokage despite the hardships he had to go through, and it ended up being about Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke...
We always knew Naruto was special because he had a giant demon sealed inside him, finding out who his dad was was never really a surprise either. I think it would be worse if he just sealed the demon into some random orphan than his own son, tbh.
